Plaintiff sued for personal injuries after a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5.  Wingert Grebing represented a trucking company that plaintiff blamed for the accident.  At trial, Mr. Mangione demonstrated that two other vehicles set the accident in motion.  Plaintiff asked the jury to award more than $600,000.00 in damages.  Mr. Mangione argued that plaintiff should receive no more than $13,000.00.  The jury returned a verdict of $17,000.00 against Wingert Grebing’s client, which was later reduced to $0.
