Amy Simonson represented a married couple who invested over a half million dollars into the making of a motion picture.  After the couple received no return on the investment as promised by the various investment contracts, Andrew and Amy instituted arbitration proceedings against the entities who were parties to the contracts.  In his final reasoned award, the arbitrator awarded damages to Andrew and Amy’s client in excess of $765,000 based on his findings of breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and the sale of unregistered securities.
