The California Supreme Court just issued an Opinion in a case Alan Brubaker and Colin Walshok tried several years ago for Qualcomm directing: “the appellate court is instructed to remand this case to the trial court, so it can enter judgment for Qualcomm notwithstanding the verdict.” The case dealt with what duty a party who hires a contractor owes to an employee of the contractor.
