Mark joins us after an extraordinary 30-year career with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, where he built a reputation as a highly accomplished trial attorney and dedicated public servant.

Most recently, on July 14, during the annual National District Attorneys Association meeting, Mark was honored with the National Distinguished Prosecutor of the Year Award, nominated by his peers in the San Diego DA’s Office. Surrounded by his family at the ceremony, Mark described the award as a “perfect feather in his cap” as he transitions into private practice.

This latest recognition completes a truly historic local, state, and national trifecta of awards—never before achieved by any past prosecutor:
