Pragya is a dual-qualified attorney with licenses to practice law in the State of California and India. She has represented clients in judge trials and arbitrations on a wide range of domestic and international complex commercial, intellectual property, securities, and international criminal disputes.
Prior to joining Wingert Grebing, Pragya worked as an Arbitration Associate with a renowned alternative dispute resolution firm in Atlanta, Georgia where she assisted retired state court judges and senior practitioners on employment, nursing home, construction, commercial, and real estate arbitrations. In India, Pragya worked with the Dispute Resolution group of a prominent Tier-1 law firm in Mumbai. She also gained experience while working under the guidance of Professor Jeffrey R. Baker at Pepperdine University’s Community Justice Clinic where she advised not-for-profits and California churches on corporate compliance matters.
Pragya graduated second in her class with a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (JD equivalent) from ILS Law College, Pune, India, a T10 law school. As a JAMS Full Tuition Scholar, she pursued her Master of Laws from Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University with dual concentrations in Trial Litigation and International Arbitration. Pragya is also the recipient of CALI Awards in (i) Mediation Theory and Practice, and (ii) Select Issues in Dispute Resolution: Entertainment Laws. Presently, she is pursuing her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Innovative and Strategic Leadership from Westcliff University as a Dr. David McKinney Scholar to better understand the dynamics of business associations and provide exemplary service to her clients.
In her free time, Pragya enjoys playing with puppies, exploring vegan food joints, and mentoring foreign-trained lawyers.
