Saleem A. Hawatmeh

At the heart of Saleem’s legal practice is a guiding principle: Be the lawyer you would want by your side. This means approaching every case with integrity, diligence, and unwavering dedication to his clients’ best interests.

Saleem thrives in the courtroom, where his skillful advocacy and strategic mindset are on full display. His litigation practice spans both plaintiff and defense work, with a strong focus on personal injury, consumer protection, premises liability, and products liability. His ability to navigate the nuances of both sides of litigation gives him a well-rounded perspective, allowing him to anticipate challenges, craft compelling legal strategies, and advocate effectively in any courtroom setting.

Before attending law school, Saleem studied at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy, where he developed a deep understanding of local, state, and national public policy. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a leader both inside and outside the classroom. During law school, he served as President of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association, competed on USD’s National Mock Trial Team, and was honored with the University of San Diego Student Enhancement Award for his contributions to the campus community.

Committed to giving back, Saleem continues to volunteer his time with the University of San Diego Mock Trial Team, mentoring aspiring attorneys as they refine their advocacy skills and transition into their legal careers.
